Bryan Berthot, MBA, is President of
Berthot Consulting. With more than twenty years of experience in
healthcare and information technology, Bryan has applied his quantitative and
project management expertise in medical research, biotechnology, and managed
care projects. While at the National
Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Bryan co-authored a widely cited validation
study of the Psychiatric Symptom Assessment Scale (PSAS), a clinical instrument
used to evaluate psychiatric inpatients.
Over the past fifteen years, he has managed software development and
implementation projects for several healthcare companies, including Ligand
Pharmaceuticals, UnitedHealth Group, and Primary Provider Management Company.
earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Maryland-College Park and an MS in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University. He received his MBA from the University of Maryland University College.
In addition to being a Project Management
Professional (PMP®), Bryan is also a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), a
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and a Certified Professional in
Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
